What if I stop paying?
They’re yours. Local apps keep running on your machine, always.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. If you can describe an app to an AI, you can keep it in Plexly. No terminal, no deploy pipeline.
Which AI tools work with Plexly?
Anything that speaks MCP: Claude, Codex, Cursor, and every new agent that ships tomorrow.
Do they have to be simple apps?
No. Apps here can be full-stack: a frontend plus their own server code in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python. Plexly bundles the runtimes, so there’s nothing to install.
What about apps I built in Lovable or Replit?
Bring them. Those platforms host your app on their cloud; Plexly gives it a private home. Export the code, point your AI tool at it, and ask it to save the app into Plexly.
Is this just a way to run apps in my browser?
No. Plexly is a desktop app. Your apps run on your machine as real software, each with its own backend, side by side in one place. A browser only comes in when someone opens a share link.
Does this create real standalone apps?
It can, if you choose. Any app can be exported as its own double-clickable desktop app that runs without Plexly. Otherwise they run side by side inside Plexly, each in its own sandbox on its own runtime.
Are these apps safe to run on my computer?
Each local app runs sandboxed, confined to its own folder, and nothing lands without your approval. No sandbox is absolute, though. For true isolation, run an app in your private Plexly cloud, where it never touches your machine.
