Where Your Data Lives
Plexly is local-first: your apps, files, and app data live on your device by default. Content leaves your machine only when you use a feature that requires it:
- AI features - your prompts and the content your agents work with are sent through our servers to our AI model provider to generate responses
- Account and billing - your email, account, and subscription state are stored with our service providers
- Cloud apps - if you run an app in the cloud, its files run on cloud infrastructure we provision
- Shared apps - if you share an app, its content is hosted by us and served to the people you share it with
AI and Model Providers
AI requests are processed by Anthropic, our AI model provider. We do not use your prompts, files, or app content to train AI models, and under Anthropic's API terms this content is not used to train their models either. AI request content is processed to provide the service and is subject to the provider's data retention policies.

Data Storage and Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Your data is stored on secure servers provided by our trusted third-party services (Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare).

- Supabase - Authentication and database
- Stripe - Payment processing; for paid subscriptions Stripe acts as merchant of record
- PostHog - Anonymous usage analytics
- Vercel - Website hosting
- Cloudflare - Content delivery and security
- Fly.io (Sprites) - Cloud hosting for cloud apps and shared apps
- Resend - Email delivery
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we have about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Opt-out of marketing communications
Children's Privacy
Plexly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at legal@plexly.ai and we will delete it.
